Yes, I am not loving what I see which leads me to believe that I will more than likely change mine to cognac.

Condensation looks great the photography has been spot on for this gen m2.
If politicians put in as much effort, to obtain world peace, as photographs put in to taking artistic photos of the new m2 to compensate for its harshness, there would be peace on earth. |

[/QUOTE Nothing wrong with preferring smoothness over "look at me" jagged edges. They're also quite pointless. Designer: "Hm, if I just take the front bumper, add two inches of material, and shape it to look like +5hp then maybe I'll get a promotion." Amiright? |

[QUOTE=///M TOWN;29666520]Yeah, that's why I ordered one...
You realize it's possible to like something on the whole, rather than it's individual parts, right? The front and rear bumpers are oddly elongated IMO. But again, I still like the car enough to drop 70k on it. The rear end is somewhat defensible in that an elongated "floor" and sills can reduce drag, but that's likely not going on here, though I admittedly have no CFD data to base that on. |

I didn’t say a single negative about any part of this car - Reading clearly owns you

Yeah that's a really odd comment, in my view, considering all the flashy M interiors I see lately all over here. To me the black seats with M color highlights are relatively tasteful. Unless you are one of those that has to go all black interior or nothing else. I've had that on my last two M cars.

Yep--relatively easy DIY and transforms the rear of the car. Did mine two years ago and it still looks great.

I saw the G87 up close in Zandvoort blue. While some were not impressed, I have to say I was. It looks good to me up close. I do like the aggressive squared design. I like the visually wider hips and wheel size. I like the 930M rims better than my 788s.
The new CF seats are great on the track having used them at the CCA PC and Indy experience. I'm not daily so. I like the interior design which was updated and looks a bit more contemporary. The front end sure looks a heck of a lot better than the G80/2 does. What I don't like is the air venting opening on the front bottom. All kinds of crap appears to be able to get sucked in and enter that radiator area. That will need a mod covering for sure. I like my F87 6MT simulated analog feel especially the dash having proper speedometer and Tach display. I personally do not wish to engage in the computerized dash, and preferred my entertainment center separated from my sports car simulation 😏 However the new dash and info center looks crisp and appears to be a step in the right direction compared with 'peers'. The new Coupes do not have DCT which was awesome having owned a DCT F87C as well. But the auto if as good as the M4, will be plenty good and fast. Preferences. The new G87 will be heavier albeit more powerful. Do I need more power if I track such a playful car? The power seemed so right in my F87. Is more better? Probably but weight isn't. Is the electronic steering and road feel as isolated as has been in the F generation? Although again I prefer the lighter F87 I'd overall say that it's hard to compare two different cars like the F87 and the G87. This new M2 Coupe is really just a smaller baby M4, and it promises to be really capable. I think it looks good even with the new M Performance Alibaba doodads. Hey each their own. The new Coupe is Not the M2 we knew, but new Mini G82. That IMHO is a really good thing. I like it. I've shared some of these and other F87 owners thoughts in a little vid I uploaded for fun since I had been debating whether or not to keep what I love or considering the new G on the block.
