BMW badly needs people to validate what they publish
It's bad enough we see tons of mistakes and errors on their configurators and elsewhere. This made me laugh and is just embarrassing.

I don't think there were any XMs delivered in 2022 either right? It would be hard for the XM to contribute to a successful year-end if there weren't any. This is pretty embarrasing.

It is worded in a way that doesn't necessitate actual sales. The vehicles were revealed and multiple dealers started taking "orders". The boost in popularity and visibility is being spined as a marketing point.
Is it misleading? Yes. Can it be interpretated as not 100% false? Also yes. I don't like it either but it is what it is.

Looks fine to me. Just says the car was launched, as an indicator of growth in the segment and brand, and will lead to more sales growth (yes, marketing). Pretty normal business practice to hype yourself ahead of tough times.
