When I was looking for at Genesis vehicles I recall seeing several of his videos and barely tolerating him. This put me over the top haha.

I feel like we've gone down a rabbit hole of scrutinizing paint colors. I've honestly never cared so much in my life - maybe it's because there's only five! Stupid BMW...

Honestly, none of the colors in my opinion are bad. Everyone gravitates toward their preference, and will never find the ones offered perfect because BMW is clearly mastering making colors look completely different from one angle to the next.

To clarify my statement, every review says how wonderfully comfortable the seats are. I'm guessing after sitting in them for the first time, all reviewers are probably meaning compared to other bucket seats, and/or for track use.

I'm still considering the carbon pack heavily, but it's just flat disingenuous to suggest they are comfortable in any way like a normal car seat. You definitely need to get used to them first.

CF buckets

I've seen guys who are well over 200lb that say the same. They are comfortable and heated. I'm getting them. I'm 5'11 190lb. I should be fine.

Yeah maybe a bit .. but it comes with the territory I guess. New Platform , car hasn't hit the streets yet . Limited color launch (Yes stupid BMW haha)

Just an overall excitement in the air. Plus there ain't much else to talk about with no official driving reviews or seat time for the general public.

I'm pretty much dead set with BG in the order bank. Until I see ZB in person to make my final decision.

If this was 6+ years ago before the whole Nardo/Brooklyn craze. This would have been an easy decision for me.

Now every car manufacturer has its own iteration of it , which lost some of it's luster and exclusivity.

I have physically sat in the G87 CF buckets and at 5’11” 160 lbs I found them perfectly fine, just like the G80/G82, nevertheless I would not want to drive nor sit in them for anymore than 1.5-2 hours. Clearly YMMV.

I drive lots of hours in my S4 now and already my butt hurts after 3 hours lol so it can't be that much worse
I will be daily driving for a while, but picking up a wagon or cheap SUV for daily so I can toss my bicycle in the back

This!! I would get it but any cars and coffee or other car meet you will see them in all shapes and forms. Worse is that Dodge and others have mini vans with this color.

I thought I was the only one who noticed him saying huge brakes in the rear and the top speed is listed. Like did you even look at the website before making the video? It has two clearly listed limits and the 0-60 is also listed. However the HP was verbalized incorrectly in the BMW videos.

I've always wondered how some people have so many subs and they are boring or dumb...

I actually think having the heating function is pointless on a seat like this. If you find the seat comfortable, chances are you've got some meat on your bones, and you'd scarcely need extra heat anyway haha.

If anything, it should be ventilated, as you should be driving the damn thing!

Heated seats are highly desired in most vehicles these days.

Ventilated seats are a worthless as opposed to actual cooled seats. The ventilated seat cushioning is generally not as thick as a seat without it.

The intent was to say ventilated/cooled. In either case, if you need the heating function turned on, it's probably not warm enough for your "summer" tires and you should probably stay your ass home or use a different car.

I drive on “summer” tires year round. FYI, The vast majority of BMWs sold today are delivered with “summer” tires, including many X vehicles equipped with Xdrive.

Edit, You are aware that most tire manufacturers including Michelin recommend not driving on “summer” tires at temperatures below 40°.

I do, that why I posted my comment. If people adhered to the requirements they'd have better experiences and there would be more seats with cooling features 🙂
