UK price rise

Just noticed on the UK configurator that the base price has risen by nearly £1,000 and that most of the options have a 10% price increase.

Cheeky fekkers. What happens in this situation, does the price on the order apply, or the one on the new price list?

Good spot btw. Just read the small print on my order, I think we’re on the hook for the extra, or I am anyway.

Hope this isn’t a sign for things to come in other markets.

Sadly it is highly possible. If it becomes a reality in the US market then I would be forced to drop the carbon fiber roof as my goal is to keep it under $70k.

I do not know if it will really matter given the rate that they are currently being allocated.

If your buying on finance in the UK, could be the same everywhere else but I don’t know, you pay the amount on the finance. So the deposit, monthly payments and GFV all stays the same as what you have signed for. So any price increases that occur after your finance documents have been signed and prior to collection, are not applicable to you.

Lotus just increased the Emira prices and fairly significantly. That launch is a mess overall. Delays of over a year or more. The i4 model is delayed. Geely has not helped Lotus really enter the proper maker world at all.

I explore the Emira world on forums and its interesting reading.

I noticed a similar increase on the M3 too when comparing prices for a built vs build slot purchase decision I am going through.

Decided to change from M2 to M3 and buy a manual "fun" car when I have space to store it. That might be a used G87
