Cross shopped M2 and C8. The winner is.....

So I was offered an M2 HEA but passed. I instead ordered a 2023 Corvette HTC. It was a hard decision because I have had many many M cars throughout the years but for similar money it's hard to beat the C8. I may regret the decision but we'll find out soon enough.

I was on the list for a year. Just got the open allocation call at MSRP. Was hoping for a Z06 but that's just impossible. 100k over on those. No thanks.

Congrats. For sure the C8 is going to be the higher performer. Im guessing transmission choice didn't matter too much.

I respect the C8 a lot but I don't like consoles that face the driver, and the styling is over the top. Still a sweet ride though.

Funny you say that because I have been a manual guy for life until I bought a Huracan. Next snapping paddle shifts are pretty intoxicating. The C8 will be a DD.

I was looking at the C8 too, but when each dealer is telling me "maybe" 2025, i crossed it off the list.

Still would consider, but the wait made the decision for me.
