I recently got put on the waitlist for Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo, no markup. However, I was given a 1-2 year estimate for the wait.

What exactly is the dealer installation fee? When I initially started reaching out in October 2022, Escondido was at MSRP with no mention of the dealer installation fee and San Diego wanted to tack on $3000 in XPEL PPF.

No ADM, did put down deposit. Delivered in Feb ‘22.

Disregard, was looking at new posts and didn’t realize it was for G87.

$3k for just front clip? XPel is what you want but that is expensive. XPel in South Florida is about $1,700 wholesale, $2,200 retail for entire nose, front fenders, hood and mirrors.

I have had multiple BMWs covered with Xpel and the average is $3-3500. That is for full hood, full fenders, headlights, fog lights if equipped, a pillars, mirror caps, door cups, rocker panels, and depending on the model extended fender arches covered front and rear.

Yikes...I paid $1,700 for the areas you described, less rockers, for my '23 M240 (and will be the same for the M2 whenever I get my "award").

This is what I was quoted:

"[XPEL]....a product in return that will be added to protect Door Edges, Door Handle inlets, Top of Rear Bumper and Navigation screen."

So...none of the parts that I actually care about when it comes to rock/paint chips.

Opps, I left out the entire front bumper cover which honestly is the most difficult part of the installed. It is also usually totally pre-cut via the plotter. Hood and fenders are wrapped.

I didn't even realize you missed it. Lol

As I said, I had entire front clip (full nose, fenders, hood and mirrors). All areas wrapped where possible.
