Air pump
Apologies if this has been posted before. My air pump does not work on the 12v plug in my 2023 X7. I am guessing this is because the X7 has that odd BMW European sized 12v (lighter style) plug. Does anyone know specifically:
1) Is there an adapter I can get so i can plug normal 12v plugs into my BMW plug? 2) Is there an air pump made by some company (BMW? Other?) that will 100% work for sure (as in you've tried) in the 2023 X7? We do not have run flats and we also like to pump up our bike tires sometimes with the pump so it's very handy. Thanks! |

If you don't want to do it like a man (as already suggested) , what's wrong with the BMW "mobility set" compressor you should have with your non-runflats? I believe the "air" (skip the "remove the "air/repair" sticker" step) mode means pumping only air, no shit (sealant):
. What "works every time" for me is a foot pump, "HEYNER Pedalpower Pro" in particular: . It looks available in the USA from Amazon UK (and as a double barrel as well if you wish, just note you might need double the "regular" body weight to operate it comfortably ). |

^The viair one linked is good
If you own any other cordless power tools, you can get a battery powered inflator that uses the same battery. I have this dewalt one and it's awesome. Just dial in the pressure you want and hit a button. https://www.dewalt.com/product/dcc02...s-air-inflator |

My experience has been that the compressor included in the mobility kit has a very poorly designed electrical connector. I had to apply extra effort to get it to contact with the positive terminal in the 12v plug.
I also have a JACO portable inflator, and it's worked great for me in multiple vehicles; the form factor is nearly identical to the BMW inflator. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
