One of the best if not the best E30 M3 documentaries.

If the original 3 series was released today, you'd see someone sharing this car's (Lada) pics in every single thread.

Just like there's no similarities between i7 and Kia except that they have split lights. Just like that.

Great post I wish the M3 was still made with Motorsport first in mind not luxury.

IDK, my non-enthusiast wife though the new x7 was a Hyundai and then bashed on that headlight design. Similar remarks for the 7-series. The Telluride checks most of the same boxes as the latest euro people-haulers for far less coin. I think BMW and it’s competitors need to do a better job showing where that money goes, aside from subscription-based options.

I wish BMW have the same aproach of beautiful design as back then and the same aggressive determination in being the best.
Today, is a washy marketing driven manufacturer with a grotesque design in many of them. Honest to God, when this design team will go, get fired or literally dissapear, I will throw a party. My problem is, I don’t think that I will have the opportunity to buy an exceptionally designed vehicle with a NA engine from BMW anymore… Definetely keep my unicorns that have a proper design and a proper cockpit interior. The new exterior design and the new tv on wheels interior is nowhere near my taste… |

Excellent video here. Still think the E90 was on of the last examples of M's pure racing heritage in a street car.

Thank you for posting! Now I feel like I want an e30…..anybody want to trade for a 1999 M Coupe with 43,000 miles on it?:-). Wish BMW would go retro and make an e30 production run for a few years — light, simple, with minimal electronics.

Wonderful video. The enthusiasm came through! It was especially gratifying to see Sam Smith's cameo.
The veneration of the M3 and the claims of it's legacy, almost completely ignored the turnaround that BMW engineered with the New Range cars—especially the 2002 whose impact on the company was far greater and in fact saved the company. And why did I get the feeling they had to consciously avoid mention of the E21 320 Turbo race car? Was its lightweight success and the drama it brought to racetracks a threat to the premise of this video? Those of us who owned, drove, and loved BMWs even before there was a Motorsport Division know just how thrilling those cars were to watch. They deserved at least a passing mention, like the 2002!
