By filling in that huge blank void, it really tones down the look of the I-beam.
It just makes that whole area at a glance look like it's some kind of functional airflow outlet. It now ties in with the boxy front intake and gives it a cohesiveness to the whole car... You can imagine air flowing at the front through the intake and somehow should exit through the back... even though it's not. |

No offense, but I think I'll just get a can of black dupli color and save about $2570. I'm pretty handy with some spray paint due to some youthful dalliances in graffiti 😉.

Yeah, I'm waiting for a few non-cf accents for a fraction. Maybe something like these but in matte black, and then a rear wing in black. If I'm sticking a piece of plastic onto the car with double sided tape I'd rather pay 1/4 or less and the plastic not be wrapped in cf.

I actually kind of wanted these to complete the matching look to the front but after seeing the price tag...phew.
My wife is starting to wonder why I didn't just buy an M3, and then I go: "Hon, I would still buy extra shit to put on that too." And then she had the look, it finally dawned on her...this shitshow with cars will never end And besides, manual four door M3 is for next year haha |
