I think what's funny is you coming to this forum and making such a juvenile comment. Kind of sad, actually.

for others and their opinions is requested on this forum.
It's almost like an elementary "your mom" joke at this point.

Still there. I sat inside the ZB for a few minutes this morning.

This is what I am trying to pull off. Keep my 2018 m240i xdrive that I bought new for Winter / Rainy / Dirty Road days and get the new M2 for those beautiful sunny days. My partner, she has other ideas, wants me to get something more practical like a truck. I hate trucks. She has an SUV already. This is the way.

I'm in Buffalo, NY. We get 100 inches of snow a year on average. This winter we had a 5ft snowfall in 2 days and then a 4 day blizzard a month later. I have had zero issue driving my M240xi around as my daily for over 5 years. Who needs a truck?

I tow a toy hauler, sometimes a trailer for my business, a dirt bike trailer for my kids peewee dirt bikes, and once in a while a 5th wheel camper...
>>>I need a truck? oh, and I plow the driveways of some of my older neighbors.
still does 0-60 in 5.05s
well at least it did before I lifted it and changed the gearing

Glad you are using for something its made for. Not like 90% of the idiots in trucks around here driving 10mph under the speed limit in their $80k trucks that have never seen a workday in their existence.

Edit, If the M240 was offered with a manual that would be the route I would go. It is all anyone really needs. I would sell a ton of them too!
I so wish my 240 was a manual. It actually makes more sense to put it in the 240 over the M2 strictly for performance reasons. 🤷🏼 Maybe I’m wrong

The M3 vs M340 or M2 vs M240 that the M lite owners bring up is a little annoying.
I have to be honest, prior to owning my G42, I probably never would have looked at it if it wasn’t for the M badge. It’s clearly a marketing tool (and an effective one).

I’ve always wanted a BMW and I wanted a quick one but I’ve never had the time to study the differences between the identifiers. The most I knew were the basics of 2,3,4,5,1! etc but I always knew the “M” needed to be on mine. Now that I have it, I want to remove it so the chump in the Tesla has no clue what they’re about to witness! Now that I have my “M-lite” I’m sucked into the culture that is BMW and love it. I can’t wait until my warranty is over so I can start playing.

As an owner of the original M2, the looks of the newer iteration is growing on me and I cannot wait to see it in flesh. But, oh boy will it be hard to get used to that front bumper.

35 years and 67,000 miles later. Oh and the best part, someone gave nearly $10k for this with the BaT buyers fee of 5%.

The front end is flat. In person it reminds me of a pre-LCI E36.

You're not wrong... an M240i with B58 engine in RWD with 6-speed at $50K... would be the best bang for the buck BMW M-Performance car.

BG is constantly changing based upon lighting conditions. It is light on metallic flake as well as it does not appear to shimmer as much as Hockenheim Silver did on the F87.
