A simple solution to this resale matter. If one intends to do an aftermarket exhaust make certain it is cat back and not axle back. Cat back is easily reversible.

My personal opinion, if one goes nuts with aftermarket mods that are not easily reversible it tends to limit your buyers when you do go to sale. Not everyone is going to have the same taste as you.

Edit, If I have two preowned BMWs that are nearly identical, yet one has been modded, I will sell the stock vehicle the quickest.

I understand 100%.

My S5 is custom tuned and has a Billy Boat exhaust, highflow catted downpipe, AWE intake and intercooler, H&R adjustable lowering springs and Advan GTs that are color matched. The trade in on that will be less than the car is truly worth. To get decent value, I will need to find a private buyer.

ZB though ... I don't know if I'll ever warm up to it.
Same here. The F87 was sexy, the G87 is way more agressive...can't really be both. I have more of an issue with the screen inside. Overall, without seeing the car in person, I preffer the G87 to the F87. Would love for BMW to program some classic dials on the screens though...seems like such a miss.

Obviously to each their own however I have a 2023 M240 with the big screen and I like it (coming from 2018 & 2019 Audis with the small, non-integrated screens)..

Here’s the explanation by Horatiu, “lost in translation.”

Looks like there's some confusion in that article with the following.

"The suspension comes with height-adjustable spring cups, allowing the ride height to be lowered by up to 10 millimeters."

The actual lowering range is between 5-20mm with the M Perf HAS kit; BMW just recommends 10mm.

Nonetheless it's great they are offering it as a port installed option.

I don't think it was available till those allocations dropped last Saturday. My CA checked for me multiple times and kept telling me it wasn't possible and that he didn't think it would become available. So I do agree 100% that the guys in the interview should have answered with the appropriate "idk lemme check for you", but I see how T_U_D could be right that they actually had no clue and something randomly changed with BMWNA.

BTW guys, I just now download the app for these forums and I apologize for being an idiot and not doing it before. I used my browser B4 and wow was it difficult to get photos uploaded.
