We have an HEA coming in. Just checked the status and it says "in transit". Do you know how long after does it take to deliver to the Dealership? I checked the Hansen site and is says no vehicle found.

Trying to get a more definitive date to swap the winter tires on 2018 M2 before returning it off lease.

Also, are these coming up from Mexico by rail or truck?

So I guess all of us GTA folks are waiting for Hansen to pickup these HEA's... When I try tracking on the website, it comes up with an error. Guessing it's on it's way to the railyard, or already there just chilling until the embargo lifts on reviews.

Really worried my car is going to come with Pirellis, anyone know which tires those two at autohas came with?

From what I can tell by looking at this video, they all have Pirelli’s.

Looks like they put michelin’s on all the test cars and kept the Pirelli’s for the first batch of customer cars .
If I recall correctly, most early G80’s didn’t come with Michelin’s either.

Looks like Pirellis on the one at Autohaus unfortunately. I was hoping for Michelin so bad. My HEA is coming in probably tomorrow, I’ll keep you posted.

The one that i saw yesterday at Maranello also has the Pirelli’s.This is the total opposite of what happened with the original F87 M2.With the F87 every 2016 M2 came with the Michelin PSS.It wasn’t until the 2017 model that some started coming with Continental’s.

A lot of the Pirelli-on-BMW issues are really due to the sidewall blowouts on run-flat tyres over the years. The Pirelli P-Zero range is not a single tyre, really just a sub-brand that has run for decades with dozens of different tyres with that name with lots of different performance capabilities.

The most recent back-to-back Tirerack test of the P-Zero PZ4 vs MPS4S had the P-Zero ahead overall with the MPS4S having a very slight edge in the dry and the P-Zero a slight edge in the wet: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests...y.jsp?ttid=269.

I've run Michelin and Pirelli tyres over the years more than any other tyres on my cars, both have had good and bad tyres for various reasons.

Local dealer received an M2. Pirelli on it. It was actually available for purchase. Red, 6MT, HEA. They had tons of bogus add ons (protections, doc fees and the like).

Eww.. The only hope I have is that my HEA was built week 9, so quite a bit after the first couple batches. Worst case will use Pirelli's as a drift/track tire and then buy new PS4S for my forged wheels coming in. I feel for anyone who gets shafted on tires though, just another expense.
