Need wiring help!
Does anyone know how to remove this clip and where to get a new one? Seems like a mouse chewed it off and now the car won’t run right. Thank you!

You can fix it yourself,
There are 1 or 2 tabs usually on top of the connector that you need to press down (most of the times super tricky to do). Then with some picks you can pull the terminal out, open the terminal crimp and put the wire in. That or take it to the dealer ![]() |

What's the milky looking stuff? Please tell me that's not from a mouse orgy!

Some of those clips can be really tough to get off, i hate em, plus there are all different kinds of releases for them, nothing standard, but all have some kind of release...take a pic with you to an auto parts store and they may be able to help, hopefully its not a BMW unique design.
Sometimes just carefully studying the clip can reveal the release, its always a push or pull tab release. That open slot is there for a reason, try inserting a flat screwdriver while prying up or down to release, while pulling at the same time. Last edited by danallxt; 04-14-2023 at 06:36 PM.. |
