Hi,
Just got information that there is a gloss black spoiler (or rather Maxton Black 3D Rear Spoiler Cap)

From the pictures I think it is not the same shape as the carbon was. It has a strange base on the bottom, different angles of the wings and a red logo. For me, on the pictures, it looks worse.

I hope I'm wrong and actually it is the same thing as the carbon spoiler - can anyone confirm it?
I was really looking forward to the black gloss spoiler.

I am interested in a gloss black non-CF spoiler as well since i am not planning to add any other CF bits so I don't want the spoiler to be the only CF part on the car. Gloss black would be a perfect match.

Maxton has black gloss and carbon look, they don’t sell anyway real carbon.

I’m still waiting AutoID Jack@AUTOID black CS spoiler. I don’t like the maxton one.

Yes, maxton looks strange - almost like it would be someone's first 3D print on a cheap printer.
The problem is that AutoID started selling maxton insted of making gloss black in the same shape as the carbon one.

For what I know AutoID will release black version of CS 1Q 2023. Let’s see. I’m holding on this to buy one. I don’t like carbon since I will not have anything in carbon so. Just waiting. I don’t want either to buy the carbon and paint, makes no sense.

We're still making ours

They been completely silent, besides a few useless insta posts, yet no products, they have more TRE products unavailable then they do for sale. They got some great designs, glad they are still supporting the G42, when seems most vendors gave up on it.

I believe that many did give up on the M240, just as you claim.

There's a YouTube video from Motech Performance about why they sold theirs instead of using it for an aftermarket parts development mule.

Spoiler alert, there aren't enough of them on the road because of availability, it wasn't driving business, so they decided it was a "dead" car.

I got the package today.
It was packed quite well and delivered in 34 days.
Price was 71$ with the delivery.

Spoiler itself looks good, stable and painted well. I don't know how good is the paint and how it will look like after a year but I think it will be ok.

Package weight was 1,15 kg
Spoiler weight 602 grams. Maybe some can compare it to the other ones?

It is empty inside.
The tape was included but I will use some extra silicone to eliminate the gaps.
More photos after instalation.

It sounds cool, it’s not all about the price but if you think it’s a good quality is already a positive thing.
I hope it fits correctly and looks like OEM one.

Sorry for the radio silence on the Gloss Black spoilers, we do have them coming though. The guys have told me end of May for our first batch of CS spoilers in gloss black.

Definitely not given up on the M240i! We've just been really busy with product releases so haven't managed to get the stuff over the line as fast as we'd hoped.

Mine is very different. But did you already installed? Mine do not fit 😂
