Automatic surface inspection and rework in the paint shop - BMW Group

Yes, I am well aware that this is at BMW Plant Regensburg, but it applies to all the BMW production locations. Also “Rework” is common within assembly as well.

It's amazing to see these robot arms with random orbital polishers on the ends of them & 3M pads do paint corrections at this level of detail on brand new car bodies with fresh paint...
