Carplay Maps GPS off with ANY phone

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, it gets very annoying. My GPS is off somehow by a little and always places me a little to the right / left of the road i’m on. It’ll think i’m plowing through a plaza when i’m on a main road and the maps gets super confused.

I fix it by force resetting idrive but this is not a permanent solution as it comes back 12 hours later. Any suggestions?
