Black Brake Calipers

I was browsing the M4 builder and noticed black calipers were available as an option. Wish this would have been an option on the M2, it would match some colors better than the traditional red/blue!

I am having my calipers color matched in Brooklyn Grey (whenever I get my allocation/car). Looks like I missed this month due to method allocations were filled long story, don't ask) so I am next up...another 30 day wait.

My friend's shop. Will need to order the paint and M stickers from BMW and they will shoot it when I put the new rims on.

IND did the ones on my M4, but it just so happened they were able to take the ones off their new car, (Sakhir Orange, which turned out great), paint and send them, so I didn't have to live without calipers for a while.

This is just local data, not sure if it's really useful or not. A friend had her calipers painted body color and it cost her 800. It looks really good in person. I don't have a good photo of it, you can see a bit in the attached photo. Point is, you could always paint them and see what local cost is. 800 seemed steep to me but they do look good.

That does sound high. I assume, at least, that includes the paint, stickers, and all labor for all 4 calipers?

Yes it was 800 all in with ceramic coating.

Ah. That feels a tad high but not outrageously so, especially if they offered any warranty on the job.
