03/2023.53 Firmware
I have a 2022 M240i with ID7. Was at the dealer to replace a headlight with condensation that wouldn't resolve for 3 months. Anyway, they updated my firmware to version 03/2023.53. Not sure what changed. Not seeing or feeling anything obvious. Does anyone know? I did a search both here and on google and couldn't find anything although some people with other BMW models seem to have gotten a similar update version too.

OK, so I just went out to the car and tried to recode the Auto Start/Stop. At first Bimmercode wouldn't let me code anything. I then checked and there was an Update waiting to be installed. After installing it, I then was able to recode the Auto Start/Stop function. Afterwards, I went for a little drive and it worked perfectly. Yay, Bimmercode! Ooops! My bad. It seemed to work in a short drive around my neighborhood, but perhaps the engine has to be warmed up before it works. Anyway, it now appears that as I said initially, the lates firmware from BMW seems to have killed our ability to code out the Auto Start/Stop function in Bimmercode!!!! Frustrating. It doesn't but thanks for sharing. I assume my app doesn't show it since the dealer did the update...Also a previous update, which happened automatically, didn't tell me what was changed so not sure what's going on.
