It's entirely possible it's just me... But I've always thought it's cheesy. Even if you're tracking. Doesn't it just say "I expect my car to break down / to have a wreck"? I mean if you do need it, it's not terribly hard to pop in the factory option.

That or they serve some purpose I'm just ignorant to because I've autocrossed but not really ever got into tracking.

At my track, tow hooks are required to be installed (front mandatory, rear recommended).

If you spin out, go off-track, have an accident, etc., you do NOT get out of the car and the tow driver is on the track a minimal amount of time-- he's not going to dig around in your trunk to find your hook.

With the hook pre-installed, he comes out, hooks on, tows out very quickly.

I agree, the car looks good in the first pic - when you're lying on the ground & it towers over you.
However, standing up and seeing it in person didn't change my mind about the styling...Audi A6-esque single headlamps and the awkward square & curvy lines that step on each other's toes...
The M-Performance pleasure ribbed Rice-A-Roni just puts the nail in the coffin for me.

I do however like the seats though

That white one isn't bad. Take off some of the Honda type r stuff and paint the lip body color I think it would look good. Not sure what all the striping is about? Decail striping, stick on aero striping, lower wings by rear wheels. It's not a rocket.

That’s the only thing stopping me from getting one of these …certain cars 40year old and ups look silly in …this is one of them !
