So guys i dont know if this is a upgrade or a downgrade (talking about the looks) if i sell my 420i and get a G87 M2 is this an upgrade or no and if so please explain to me why because a lot of people told me th 420i is better in looks than a M2

Agree...if one has to ask, then I would say the G87 isn't for the OP.

It’s all personal opinion. The M2 looks much better than a regular 2 series IMO. I love the front and the fender bulges. I don’t care for the little triangle front intakes on the regular 2 series and it just looks a little less performance inspiring. I think some people don’t care for cars that depart the status quo and the M2 has throwback themes along with modern queues. I wouldn’t have even considered buying a 2 series unless it’s the M2.

Hey man i am asking for your opinion i personally think that both cars looks amazing and i like the M2 better but i am again asking for your opinions about the looks i would appreciate your opinion about the overall design and specs

I have warmed up to the M3/M4 grills but the 420,430,440 grill is still shit to me. I am not sure if it's the shape or chrome but I just can't warm up to it still.

Ok, well my take, the pig nose is hideous on an otherwise simple looking sedan. The worst thing about the G87 is the back but add a real spoiler helps it greatly. There are other cosmetic changes one could do if thats your jive. The front and widebody fenders/quarters are far better on the G87.

Is the G87 perfect, no but since one can't frankenbuild a car, overall the looks of the G87 far exceeds that of the G22.

The beavertooth grill never grew on me so M2 is an upgrade in that alone.

To me the silhouette too closely resembles a Ford Mustang. Save a some money and buy that instead.

The real question is are you already on a list or with an allocation for the M2? If not, start there and then revisit the question.

For the record, both are good looking cars imho. Don’t worry about what everyone else thinks, people’s opinions change more frequently than the weather. If you prefer a big booty M2 wins. If you prefer a big nose keep your 420i.

You are asking if people on an M2 forum like the looks of the M2. It sounds like you are seeking validation.

Someone getting an M2 is looking for extreme looks. They are making a statement knowing people will criticize the looks.

It doesn't seem like you are the kind of person who should buy an M2. Maybe the M240 will be a little more your style.

It’s not like that i came in the M2 forum because people here experienced the car and saw it in person so i am asking for thier opinion to see if the car is worth the change or not and thank you so much for your opinion
