My M240i completed production 6 weeks ago but still saying satus 160 ....delivery still says week comencing 17th july ....i doubt it unless it has wings.dealer cant find anything out and the Genuis says the same .......why so long when its completed ...would not normally mind too much but got it booked in for New car prep and some ppf ....dates are hard to come by.

It's a long and painful wait, we've all been there. Cars sit in statuses that you'd expect them to only sit in for a short time and it ends up being an eternity. My order to delivery time was 5.5 months to Eastern US.

Mine was shipped on April 21st and it’s still not at the dealership, it’s a long long wait.

Shipped ??? its about 2 weeks on a ship .
have the dealers given you a current location ? they can give its exact location.

Mexico to Germany to UK takes about 8 weeks, unfortunately we don’t get the same tracking as the US, the Genius has said it’s in port at Southampton and has been there since June 20th. The dealers don’t know why it hasn’t been delivered yet but the salesman has been on holiday so I’d expect that to be the reason.

Got an update from the dealers this morning, mines not due until the 10th July
It was supposed to be here 2 weeks ago.

As far as I can work out from the meagre level of information available to us non-stateside purchasers, mine took about 18 days from ship offload to arrival at the dealer.

so about 4 weeks later than original date was that ?
was also told today by GENIUS uk cars are now being direct to southhamton ,not sure how true this is.

Yeah, 4 weeks total, I’m on holiday then too so won’t be able to collect until the week after, hopefully I’ll get it on July 17.

My dealer has no clue what’s going on
