I’ve never used it in the i4. But I do love and use the Motorrad one.
I’m thinking about getting the MP one ($270) that’s plugs in and works via an app.

Did you mean the analyzer or the "dash cam feature" recorder?

I have the integrated recorder on my cars, and love the feature. It's funny how other drivers' stories change once they find out you have a recording.

It’s fantastic. It took me a few days to figure out the sensitivity settings for Parking mode and now it’s exactly how I want it. I like that the Cameras with the BMW logo are visable from the front & rear, I’m hoping it will deter people from parking by feel. Wise addition for anyone who parks (and drives) in a city with a plethora of highly unskilled and careless drivers.

Yes, but I would make sure they’ve done it before though. It’s Labor intensive and involves removing panels. The port charges $730 for it and I believe the camera is only $390. There’s a non screen option that’s cheaper (non Pro). Your dealer should give you a new car customer parts discount of at least 15%.

Agreed. Plus it appears that the aforementioned drivers have dramatically increased since Covid.

Just how visible are those Roundels on the cameras? Obnoxiously visible, even at distance or does glass glare hide it?

In my opinion, the guys in the YT video should have mounted the front camera mount slight closer to the rear view mirror as it appears to be in the direct line of sight of the front passenger.

I grabbed these from your pics. To date I have not seen the ACE 3.0 installed. Does it really look that large from the interior?

Stand by, l’ll take some interior shots. It doesn’t interfere in my line of sight or feel obtrusive. I have the combo Escort 360Cam, wish it were as sleek as that but the features and warranty more that make up for it. I’ve only seen traditional Dash Cams in Taxis and the ACE looks a lot better by comparison. The resolution of the screen and recordings are also quite impressive.
