APEX | Forged Wheel Design Survey
Hi Everyone, With the expansion of the VS-5RS into multiple fitments and 18, 19, and 20” diameters specifically for the G8X M3 & 4, we expect to soon be offering a wide range of our VS-5RS fitments to new G87 M2 owners as well. We have testfitments scheduled, but in the meantime we’re looking to expand our Forged wheel lines. We need your help identifying your preferred wheel designs and fitments for your chassis. Edit: This Survey has concluded. Thanks for your feedback! Please note: this survey is for forged wheels only. We’ll be working on adding flow formed options in the future, but this survey does not include those wheel designs. Thanks again to everyone who has already provided feedback and/or volunteered for a test-fitment! -Tom and the APEX Team

Awesome, super interested.
Question, tho: do we expect different fitments for the G87? I thought the hardware and clearances were the same? |

With that being said, even in the G8X M3/4 fitments, we only currently produce VS-5RS across the board. So even if we change none of the fitments for the M2, the design feedback from this survey is still extremely valuable. -Tom

Any chance your 18 inch design would work with the big calipers like the 824M wheels from the factory?

Survey done, definitely need some forged wheels for track days and autocrosses to pair with stickier tires.
These Pirelli P-Zero's on the stock wheels aren't even close to my previous car, 2015 Mustang GT, 305 and 325 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3's on Apex SM-10. |

Any photos of the 18" square setup? Do they clear the front brakes?

We modeled this wheel after a brake scan to ensure it did clear up front. You'll need to run 5mm spacers, but those are for clearance with the OE struts, not for the brakes. 18" square is the first set on that extended post. It's not an easy direct fit because of the front fender liners with 305 section tires. You'll get rubbing on the vent fins but it's a great option for someone willing to trim the vent fins or run the IND/RKP modified front liners. -Tom
