BMW M240i Price 2023
Hi, I'm looking at getting a BMW M240i and I saw that I can order one straight from the BMW website and when I contacted the dealer that was nearest to me, they said the price of the car would be exactly as spec'd on the site, but it would take 3-4months to arrive. I like the fact that I will have warranty on the car and I'm considering the fact that I can get MBI insurance of needed later on as well. My question is can I negotiate the rate (I think I can get a 4.75% interest rate from my credit union, don't know much about BMW finance rates) and if not, should I cut my losses and maybe consider getting the 2018 M2 with 25,792mi and priced at $43,000? Thanks!

Special order cars are indeed going for MSRP right now and it will take 3-4 months for production assuming the dealer has an open allocation for it.
Yes, for sure you can negotiate the rate. It’s good that you already got pre-approved through a credit union already, ask the dealer to do better or at least match it. Slim chance BMW Financial has a lower rate than credit unions but I could be. Just go on BMW site and see what rates they have for the 2 series. Also check the dealers website to see if there’s any mention of a special rate. It’s really your call if you want the previous gen M2. Everyone will give you different opinions. My suggestion is to test drive both and then make your decision.
