Brooklyn Grey G87 M2 with 1000M Frozen Bronze wheels with pics!

Hey gang, just wanted to share these pictures with you guys. After ordering these a long time ago, and waiting for them to come in, and then having them stuck at customs for another two weeks awaiting all of these affidavits, signed documents and import duty fees, they have finally been delivered and installed. Honestly wow what a difference these make aesthetically. There is no noticeable difference in terms of ride quality. Some have mentioned harsher ride, more bumpy etc but I don't feel any difference at all. I also purchased the performance carbon fiber spoiler from AutoID. Great customer service, couldn't be happier!

The proportions are distorted in those pictures, can we get a more realistic view of the car ?

It’s funny you say that. None of these pictures were taken with 0.5 zoom iPhone setting. They are all just plain ole iPhone pics. They look distorted but they aren’t. The car actually is that boxy and weird looking lol.

They are distorted. I drew perfect circles over the wheels to help emphasize the fisheye effect of the pics. Notice how the wheels look oblong.

They’re a few pounds lighter compared to the 930M, but not by much. You’re saving just under 20lbs on all four corners combined. There are aftermarket alternatives (like Apex forged) that save more weight, if that’s your priority.

Looks nice man. 20's in the front look much better. I agree that camera phone photos sometimes distort cars when taken up close. Not sure why the lens does that fish eye look at times.

I’m debating the bronze wheels on a black car, but going back and forth on the brake caliper color. Do you like the blue here?

Thank you! Stock height and no spacers! They will look incredible on BSM. That was my first choice.

Definitely go with red! That was my first choice but the HEA car with the blue calipers came in first so I just took that instead.

What a hassle getting them, it was worth it, they look stunning.
How’s the brake dust on those? Not that you probably take too many photos in that state but I’m curious how it shows compared to the stock setup.

Also, is that an RGL plate?

Yes that Brooklyn grey is quite the transforming color. Even the frozen bronze wheels seem more gold in certain lights and more silver in others!

Funny you should ask, I actually drove the car nearly 100 miles yesterday for work and when I got home, I noticed how the wheels were covered in brake dust. They were spotless when I left in the morning. Definitely more visible than the stock black wheels. Not sure what an RGL plate is. These are the BMW car club for NY. They are an ORG plate.

And the coloring is therefore Gold Bronze as the official website says?
From the BMW site and from the other photos around it looks a much more "gold" color than yours which is more of a bronzed gold
