Order to Delivery time for Australia
Just wondering if anyone has ordered recently from Aus and what time line you were told?
I was told end of March which seems a long way off to me. I wonder of they were just trying to set expectations or that's going to be the actual time. I ordered early September, so that's the best part of 7 months. Also wondering if I could set a record for watching the most bloody youtube videos - maybe not after reading some of the posts but I'll go close. |

It all depends on when your build allocation is. I was lucky and ordered the end of July with a dealer that had a open (customisable) build allocation. Build date was slated for 30th of Sept, but this got moved forward to 23 Aug. I am now status 165 awaiting to get on a boat to Melb. And itself is a waiting game, and then clearing the port at Melb is the next hurdle due to the backlog of freight at Melb (and other Aus ports).

My build was September 2022, car sat in Mexico for 10 weeks and departed the first week of December.
Shipping was extremely delayed in NZ, Brisbane and Sydney and finally another 4 weeks in Melbourne. Arrived last week of February. Order to delivery was quoted at 6-8 months. It took 7. My mum had an M3 Touring arrive a month ago - You would think the ports have had ample time to sort their shit out but no, it is still an absolute mess. Her car was delayed by about 6 weeks once it hit the coast of Aus. |
