Just got off the phone with my CA. The car was delivered to the dealership today but was missing the M Carbon roof that was on the spec sheet. Super disappointing, I’ve been on the waitlist since October of last year.

If you go to your garage (on the website), is it showing there in the drop down?

The VIR that we agreed upon had the carbon roof specced but the online tracker didn’t have it. The dealership assured me that they sent the VIR that we both sat down and made, but it showed up today without it.

The minute you start and drive it you will be happy. If you need one soon then buy this. Its your money. If not in a hurry - reorder? Or find another and have dealer trade yours out for that other model close to your spec with a carb-roof?

Just got off the phone with the dealership; they offered me an October allocation for a November build to fix the issue. I’m going to take that. It’s a bit upsetting because my current car (C43 AMG) just broke down on me today in the middle of an intersection and I got the call while waiting on a tow truck. The dealer was apologetic and I got to spec the M HAS which wasn’t available for the car that arrived today, so I guess there’s some positive.

Agree with this if you swap out cars every 2-3 years, but wouldn’t take it if you’re a 5-7 year guy like me

I agree, I plan on keeping this car forever as it's the last affordable manual german sports car.

Dang that sucks. You made me panic and I checked my specs on the portal and everything is listed. Bummed that it was a last minute surprise for you man.

You should post it up here in case someone wants to jump on it. With it being the end of the month, I am sure the dealer wants to move it.

Unfortunately the VIR you originally looked over got changed along the way.
The online tracker should always mirror the options selected.

But you got a new opportunity to "re-do" and that is a good thing. Glad it worked out at the end

It’s a BSM 6MT with the carbon trim, sunroof, m sport seats with M highlights, black rims, blue brakes, and all other options except the drivers package and the E-SIM. I have no doubt the dealership will find a buyer as their waiting list is super long.

I picked up my car on Wednesday of this week and on Friday I realized that the brake calipers are blue instead of red (what I desired). It's not a deal breaker but I think my CA just failed to annotate on the order form. I'll be able to live with it but I understand the disappointment.
