I always know when I had a "spirited" drive home, the rad fan(s) are just screaming in the garage....lol (and thus means the grilles are open).

TIL the front grill on my car open and closes. also TIL I really am glad I no longer drive on the rock littered streets on the American southwest. I can only imagine how easily the radiator would get damaged by a rock with them open like that.

The bars on the 2023 are different, they have a welded metal section joining them together so you can only cover a portion of them

Interesting, I have 2023 and mine does not have this. Mine is a US model however, so maybe different front end internal bits?

Interesting...
If I were going to do it, I'd want a blue similar to the calipers.

Maybe, I was surprised as all my other models have been the same as usual, this is the first that’s different.

When was yours built?

Ah, mine was built in April ‘23, that could be why it’s different

To be 100% honest here, I don’t think it’s the build date. I think it’s an EU vs USA crash test differences/safety requirements difference. I’m on a couple G42 Facebook groups and I’ve seen 22-24 model years with the same front bar set up as mine. All US based people.
