Do dealers report damage discovered during appraisal?
I took my car to dealer for an appraisal; they gave me the numbers and also pointed me to a tiny scratch at the very bottom of the front bumper. My question is: do they report this to Carfax now?

No. They shouldn’t. It’s just for they’re own appraisal

You can be certain that when reselling the vehicle they will not point out the tiny scratch to a potential buyer. When appraising for say trade in value they will pick at any tiny little item to "devalue" your car for trade in.
