The M2 is supposedly the most wanted M car in the US, dealers know this so they work the market of course. M4’s sit on the lot for weeks / months so there are better deals on those.

In many ways the starting price in Europe is a lot higher, so more flexibility in discounting, I think. The G87 starting price in France is €81,100, with 20% VAT removed it is €67,600. In Canada the starting price is CAD$76,500 (€52,500), about 29% lower.

The on the road price for my ordered 2023 G87 with carbon fibre roof, Toronto Red paint and a few other minor options together with all taxes and fees was CAD$85,600 / €58,800 / USD$61,900

Lukily here in Luxembourg the starting price is cheaper (72keur). But still, agreed in overall it is logic.
