I hope some of you detailing die-hards can help point me in the right direction with ceramic coating the car and wheels.

Since I will be swapping the wheels straight away, is it better to wait and bring the car back and do all the ceramic at once, or coat the wheels in advance and then do the car once it gets home after the shop has fitted the wheels and tires?

This isn't a huge thing I was just wondering if anyone has some real-world advice on exterior maintenance tips.

Doesnt matter but may be easier to do the ceramic while the rims are off the car.

If you are doing ppf, ppf MUST go on BEFORE the ceramic is done. If not, the ppf will not adhere properly. After ppf is done, then ceramic entire car.

My wheels were removed during the detailing process. I had full PPF and then everything on the exterior was ceramic coated. The wheels front/back/insides and they also did the brake calipers. Makes wheel cleaning a breeze.

Can’t wait to see that new beast once you pick her up on Saturday.

Is this right, that ppf won’t stick to a ceramic coated surface? I have the front ppf and then the whole car was ceramic coated. I’ve decided later that I want to ppf the rocker panels, which I want to attempt myself. Am I going to have to buff the ceramic off?
