Nice! Gentle Leader is passing by San Diego at the moment, scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme sometime tonight/tomorrow. Trying not to get my hopes up too high just yet regarding delivery next week; it sounds like port delays on this end have been relatively common, too (whether it's carrier related, or otherwise).

But we're definitely in the home stretch!

My Salesperson said today my car is on Athens Highway in open sea west of English Channel heading to Baltimore then Brunswick.

So I set up M Performance suspension, 12mm spacers, tint, PPF track, and ceramic coating for delivery around Christmas, hopefully!

My BMW Technician son at my dealer will be installing my suspension!

I was able to track the ship the entire way without signing up/paying for anything.


I'm in the puget sound area but jealous of all you cali cats who will get to meet up! Once the weather breaks, a longer trip south might be in order.

My car is now in the US!! Just arrived an hour ago in San Diego. I could have sworn BMW Genius told me it's going to Port Hueneme and if so, it likely won't be on a truck for a few more days. Getting super anxious!!

And congrats to the 6MT guys, I got xDrive so only had one option.

Got an update from my dealer.

Car today is at Long Beach Port, tomorrow will be at Port Hueneme and will be off the ship at that time. Then it's a matter of how fast they truck it up to NorCal, so this weekend or early next week I get to finally be with my new toy!!

I’m on the Selene Leader as well. Looks like it’s keeping the 8th arrival at port Hueneme. I’m in LA so it’s only a short ride over from port barring any unexpected delays. We’ll see.
