I have a weird issue that I've tried looking around the forums for any data. I'm stationed overseas in far east europe with the nearest center a few hours away. My car Is a 2024 M2 with European maps loaded per the details when I inquire in the system. If I search anything, it gives zero results. To include if my fuel is low and it tries to find a petrol station two minutes from me. If I load a destination via the application on my phone and send it to the car, it works fine. I've tried the ten second power hold and reset. Any suggestion?

My 2023 M2's NAV system didn't work worth a darn until I signed into the car via my BMW ID and did some things while signed in -- nothing exceptional just I think agreeing to accept ConnectedDrive as my Lord and Savior...

At the same time I sync'd a key to the BMW ID. So now when I get in the car with the sync'd key NAV works very well.

'course, as is my habit I swap keys every 1st of the month. Did this and in the car and tried to call up previous destinations and just crickets. Then I realized I had an un-sync'd key. Sync'd the key and all was well again.

I'll definitely try that... I did log into the app but still haven't been able to find anything with the on board navigation. Also made me think since my bmw ID was created in the USA it might localize the system. I'm going to try to place the localization in Europe and re-add my car.

Ironically, deleting my car from the app cause all my navigation to work again. So for now no app capabilities until I can figure it out. If anyone has any advice on how to.allow.your bmw ID to sync with the car and not geoloc the navigation I'm all ears.
