OEM Drive Recorder installation tips?

Has anyone done this? I prefer staying OEM because I suspect the cables are already there from the G42 having it as an option.

OEM not Possible ( no Frontcamera in Bumper), not optet, no cables....

What if I just want to pair the BMW dashcam (will install separately) with the Drive Analyzer or whichever app works with the OEM unit?
