Garage List
Wink This car is way too easy to drift over snow

Up here in the northern midwest with an m240ix and they didn't salt or properly clear the snow near me after the storm and everyone's driven the snow super compact. I've got a set of minus tires running x-ice snow's I've been screwing around on some empty roads and parking lots by myself and it's actually so easy to control.

I was screwing around during the blizzard when the conditions were even worse, and I had mistaken DSC Off to be the partial nanny mode (but had read that DSC Off activated the eLSD) and I was thinking to myself about how good the nannies were, come to realize that I was hooning around completely without any assists .

Compared to the boring mazda cx-3 (first car) I used to have which I've driven on similiar conditions, you don't have to wrangle the thing and it's not squirrly at all. Let off the gas and it just comes right back after the pause point instead of sliding for days. Stay on the throttle and everything is so smooth and controlled.

Drifting, sliding, and skidding this car over snow is so calming and relaxing, it's practically an orgasm on wheels . Stay safe out there boys, this thing is addicting.

I may have been driving slideways this morning as well (fresh snow).

Yes, it's very easy to break the back end loose, but then the front wheels kick in some power to help reign it in. It's almost like easy mode.

One thing to note, the AWD helps get you moving in a hurry on snow, even deep snow. Just be cognizant if you're driving like a complete lunatic, and suddenly need to stop quickly when you have the wheels kicking up snow at over 60mph, you're going to experience a code brown when your braking needs to first slow the spinning wheels, then try to slow the car after. Ask me how I know (although, different car, Kia Stinger GT).

Play safe.

Yep! I was doing some pretty clean figure 8s this weekend. So easy to keep nice tight circles
