Well it’s official. The 2023 M2 is totaled and the 2024 M2 begins production in November and should arrive late April or early May. Now I have to go through the process of dealing with the insurance company to make sure I get my down payment back.

If the insurance will make you whole with a new car, I'm glad it was totaled.

Pretty crazy though seemingly not "major" damage is totaling or close to totaling these cars.. I used to work at a tow yard a decade ago and the only cars getting totaled with this type of damage was when the airbag went off too.

On December 30th, 85 days after the 2023 was totaled, I picked up the 2024. Well actually just purchased it because I left it at the dealership so the technicians as could install all the mods I originally bought for the 2023 while I was away vacation. I'm home and I was able to drive my new baby for one day before we got hit with a snowstorm. Now I get to walk past her in my garage and choose something with Drive all winter long.
