If auto, I'd rather get the nub. What is the function of a giant gear lever in 2023 on a automatic car? Just takes up real state and prevents the girlfriend from reaching.

If you are using the back seats in your M2 enough to complain about rear climate you may be in the wrong car. I can get if it is an SUV, which for a while the previous vehicle I bought (Explorer ST) did not have the rear stuff installed. Ford had to retrofit it. That deserved critism this move IMO does not.
Tl;Dr: I've got a MY24 and I do not feel the slightest bit slighted. |

I genuinely believe the removal of the control was a feature, I think some other manufacture charge money for that, something something delete. Weight saving for performance. lol

Oh, how quaint! If I were yearning for an SUV, I'd have joined the soccer mom brigade ages ago. But no, I opted for the M2 – a choice clearly above the mundane SUV trends. Now, imagine my sheer delight when I discovered that the MY2024 didn't bother with trivialities like rear AC controls. Bravo! Because who needs comfort for the family of three when you can have the joy of explaining to them why they're sweating bullets in the backseat of your oh-so-sporty car? Clearly, I'm not driving the wrong car; I'm just participating in an avant-garde experiment in familial discomfort.

If you are looking for ultimate backseat luxury for the family with ac controls, then yes, you clearly chose the wrong car. I guess I wont bring up that its not very spacious in the back seat. Maybe the M3 would have been a better choice if the backseat cooling is that big of a concern. As stated, the cabin is small enough that your back seat passengers should be fine (although they may complain about the legroom). I cant believe there are two pages and going on this subject. |
