BSM 6mt G87 Available (St. Louis Metro Area)

Hey all. I took delivery of my ZB 6mt G87 on Wednesday morning at Newbold BMW on O’Fallon, IL. Dropped in on Friday to pick up a couple things and my CA said they just got brand new BSM 6mt G87 in on a dealer swap for a G80. Looks like it has the m-highlight black interior and it has Michelin PS4’s. Thought I’d pass it along in case anyone is in the market.

Here’s a couple pics of the car and the window sticker (also pic of mine for attention). Ask for Joe Krick and tell them Steve with the ZB/Cognac M2 sent you.

Is there any price flexibility in the market yet or are these cars still moving pretty fast?

I think under MSRP is unlikely, but you can always try. I paid MSRP on a build I spec’d. The popular dealer on the Missouri side is still asking $3-5k over.

I got a few hundred bucks off MSRP and negotiated out a few fees on an allocation I spec'd last summer with a cash deal (I shopped 5-6 different dealers, but my starting point was >MSRP or forced to buy certain add-ons).

I'd guess that if you put in the work you could get 2-3% off MSRP today since dealers have cars on the lot and it's winter (at least in the northeast). No data points to back it up, just my initial expectation if I started shopping today.

I keep seeing M2’s pop up for $4k below msrp. They don’t last long though. You’ll need to put in work/get lucky to get these deals though and they’re going to be market dependent so you might need to expand your search area based on your location.

Thanks! It’s actually just port installed MP HAS. It was my understanding that the BMW spec for HAS was something like a 10mm drop, but I’m convinced they put it all the way down (I haven’t yet checked to see how low the spring collar is on the strut).

I agree, it looks low compared to past installs. If you can confirm it’s lower than 10 and even run for awhile, we’d all appreciate the feedback. I’m doing port HAS but need a bit more low.

Will do. We've got a 1/2" of ice on the ground today in St. Louis and I'm dropping it off for PPF tomorrow. It might be a few days before I can verify but I'll get the info for you.
