My first new exterior mod

Beside mods that came off my G80 m3

First must have addition for me.

Trunk handle. Must have. Since there is no auto open/close like g80. 😂

There's a latch/handle on the inner part of the trunk door, FYI. It's not the most straight forward or ergonomic way to close the trunk, but the most appropriate without bastardizing your paint.

Thats crazy. No auto open/close in the M2. Does the M2 have the same function where as long as your key fob is near, it locks or unlocks?

No. What he means is that the trunk is not pneumatically assisted. You have to operate it manually to open/close it, meaning with your hand. It still has the same comfort access features as the other G8x cars, as well as you being able to pop it open ajar with the remote.

The inner may not be the best use in a certain angle. Or when pulling from inner handle and it doesn't shut all the way, then you do have to grab the trunk lid or the rear spoiler. this solve that problem.

this grab handle works awesome. I have it on all my cars that have manual trunk operations.

I've honestly never read so many threads and/or complaints about opening/closing a trunk as I have on BMW forums. I must be missing something.

I never knew this was an issue... Actually, it's not an issue.

I honestly don’t mind the closing “handle” on the inside of the trunk. Never had any trouble closing it without touching the cars paint.

What if using that, scratches the paint or what ever is behind it. 🤪

Ah yes, the ole 11-99 Foundation plate frame. Does it still work? My brother is some sort of high-contribution member, and he has the fancy leather driver's license holder - you just hand your license IN the holder in that thing and MAYBE the cop cuts you a break. Or he just does the usual "please take it out" line you get when attempting to hand over your license in any state other than bare.

Their is a rubber washer behind it. and also replace back plastic frame bracket to metal so it will not touch the paint at all.

Was wondering the same thing. It's a pretty expensive cause to contribute to every year. But hear the 9-11 frame is well respected by LEO's all over the place.
