911 Dakar made my (G87) day

Run into a 911 Dakar at an intersection and the driver waved at me wanting to talk.
He wanted to tell me that the G87 looked awesome and told me that it is rare.
Funny coming that was from him with a 1 in 2500.

Fantastic looking car, I came across a 911 Dakar in `The Roughroad' (a nod to Rothmans) livery back in May whilst in Monaco. Must say the Dakar is a truly a unique 992 series 911. Perhaps you could say you meet the nicest people in a G87....

This is an awesome post & made me smile. Cool people are simply awesome. I think both cars are unique even though the production numbers on the Dakar are much lower.

I drove the Dakar last week and it is crazy fun in particular over bumps , railroad crossings
it handles almost exactly like a 911 despite it is significantly higher
the OEM tires are all terrain but they did ok in snow

Had the same conversation with this guy. That thing with a Caparisto exhaust is insane.
He just picked up a G82X.

Heh, small world. I know exactly where that is. I used to live less than a 1/4 mile from there.

That matches my experience befriending a Diablo owner who was absolutely stoked to see the M2.
