Haven't posted a production update in a while, been busy breaking in my M2.

The production rate of the M2 at San Luis Potosi has been cut in half from the fall months to December.

A total of 19,284 G87 M2s were produced in 2023, and by now, we can safely say that over 20K have been produced, making it the fastest selling newly introduced M car ever (I think, correct me if I'm wrong).

It is fairly normal for the Christmas plant closure to be 2 weeks, so Dec production is likely to be lower than an average month.

Just meant that Dec production was half the run rate from the fall months. Could have worded better, I guess.

I will have Jan data in about 10 days, and will see if it is back to the 2,000/ month level.

Curious to know generally how many go to each respective country/Region. US and Europe have to be number 1 and 2 and I suspect middle east and East Asian countries follow close after

It would really be nice to see a production video of our M2 G87 from Mexico. It will only solidify how well this car is being produced. If anyone knows of any link on youtube please share.

I don't think there's a 2-series video but here's a good 3-series one from the same plant
