Quad M Exhaust Tips Mod

I hate the look of the square single exhaust tips mounted to the back bumper on the M240i. Right now I'm not ready for a full exhaust mod so I am just thinking about installing some M Quad exhaust tips.

Has anyone done this before that can share any sources? Or has anyone bought from the site below?

Nice!
How are they holding up after a full winter? I don't know how much snow you get or if they salt roads heavily in New Jersey.
I wanna do it, but don't want to replace them every spring because of the salt destroying them.
I had to replace the SOUL tips I got for the Boxster after 3 years (only 1 winter driven). At least they stood behind their warranty - which was very much appreciated.
Just baffled how nobody makes these in North America. Low volume car, I know, but the Boxster/Cayman is not exactly mass-market either.

They still look perfect…this pic is from march 2023 but they still look exactly like this. Granted, the tips and the car is filthy.

Do you have any heat problems where the exhaust is close to bumper opening.

This looks amazing. I know what I’ll be doing when the weather gets better.

No issues. I washed the car today and just snapped a few pics. This is at 1 year and 4.5 months / 20K miles in northeast U.S., so they see heat, snow, ice, salt.

Don't think salt is a big problem as there isn't very much ability for the salt to get kicked onto the exhaust tips to begin with. I'm finding the larger problem is soot buildup, particularly b/c I run ignition cut with xHP and agressive torque reduction.

Wow these look nice after all those conditions! I'm in Toronto so I'm considering a bunch of options, but if you cleaned these would they get back to normal condition? Also do you have any pics of how they look from a farer away angle on your vehicle?

If I polished the metal they’d look good as new

I purchased these Infinite Autowerks exhaust tips last Fall and wound up returning them. I was unable to get a symmetrical fit between the right and left tips even after numerous attempts at adjusting them for hours. Maybe I'm just too picky, but I just didn't like the difference in the fitment and gaps between the bumper and tips between the right and left side that can be seen in these photos.

with any of these aftermarket tips, it will require force, bending, and or shims/spacers to align the tips since the OEM outlet is an oval not a perfect circle. BMW probably did this to make it hard to do what we are doing! lol.

I like the IAW tips because the finish of the tip is better, (plated vs most other places are painted) and because I could call them for tips on how to install.

did you try the shims to align the tips? I just had to add a small shim on my left tip because it pointed slightly down, then it was perfect on my m340. my buddies m240 went right on without problems.

I am fortunate my M2 comes with quads like it should

I definitely tried some force and bending, but I did not try any shims. I didn't think the IAW tips were really amenable to the use of shims because they are attached with 2 hose clamps per tip. Shims would seem to have been helpful with type that attaches using 4 screws per tip.

you just put the shim on the inside edge of the IAW tip you need to twist it and clamp it down. very easy and quick to adjust it as needed.

I wish I would have thought to try a shim, or called IAW for help. Better yet, an installation guide sheet included with the tips that mentions the use of shims would have been very helpful.

they mention some of the stuff on the product page but they told me they don't reveal all the secrets out in the open so other pages can't just copy. They had said another company blatantly copied some of thier unique listings word for word so they keep some cards only for verified customers to separate themselves. They are good guys. I am local to them as well so I am always rooting for the home team.

Hopefully you got some other stuff to work. I met one of the owners Jacob and he was very helpful. I will continue to support them. I originally just thought they were drop shipping but I called them up to see if they could do local pickup and told them what parts I wanted and I had everything within 4 hours. They earned a customer for life that day. I am sure if you called them they would be happy to help if you didn't find another solution.

Still look great.

Is there still more room if you were to push them in a bit to get them a bit closer to flush with the bumper ?

I don’t remember to be honest, but I’m pretty sure they are pushed in as far as they go, only adjustment needed was to make them level with each other.
