G42 w/ factory fender flares

I've assumed it was just a visual applique' but have yet to come across one in the wild to verify. The actual wheel well isn't any different than those without flares correct?

No. It is literally just a stick-on piece of plastic trim that goes on the outside of the wheel fender.

Every G42 has identical space in the wheel wells.
