Has anybody found a good Key fob protector I just picked up my two series and to my surprise the keys larger than the other ones looking for some suggestions

There’s a bunch on AliExpress for cheap but they may be a little bulky.

Was looking to keep it as slim as possible do not understand why this car has a different key that slightly larger than the rest really strange

I hear ya. I wouldn’t buy anything unless someone shows you for sure it fits, or it’s returnable. Most vendors say theirs works with this shape, but they don’t mention the newer, slightly larger ones. I wanted a hard case like I had for my F30. That one was too small. I ordered a new one that was supposed to fit. Too small. I ended up getting a leather one that’s more like a sleeve. It’s also too small it sticks out a little on the open end.

The best I could do for now. 🤨

Picked this CF one up from Etsy. Fits good, you just have to pull out the key from the FOB.

I like that one! But what do you mean removing the key? Like it will only fit if you pull the thing out and throw it in a drawer? Although I don’t even know where you’d use it on this car lol.

That is correct. Key must be removed for it to snap on correctly. I would imagine the only use for the key would be if the fob battery died and you needed to get in but either way I would just use the BMW app @ that point.

I had to check the manual…didn’t even know there was a place to put the key under the handle lol.

I tried a few from amazon and even when it said it would fit our keys it did not.

Is it real cf or just a print? Does it replace the factory case or just snap over it? How well does it stay closed/not fall apart?

Didn’t even cross my mind to pull the physical key out. I just used the case that I already had it fits now that I pulled the key out lol thanks
