How Can This Be Fixed?

A section of my trunk liner is separating and can now be seen outside of the rubber weather stripping. (See photo) As many times and I put it back in its place it pops back out. I assume this has not happened to anyone here or I would have read about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

deck screw would do it but seriously you could always try some strong velcro.

Get some Black 3m or Permatex weatherstrip adhesive. No screws.

Mine is not doing that and I have removed my trunk lining a couple different times. I would suggest maybe removing the whole piece and making sure it’s seated properly at all push clip locations.

Otherwise, +1 using tape or weather stripping adhesive whatever, not using screws

Double-sided carpet tape. One and done.

Well I figured out the problem. The way I was placing my golf clubs into the trunk was deforming the liner. Duh!!!
