Damaged at port facility
I was supposed to take delivery of my fully loaded M2 this coming Friday (3/15), but my sales advisor called and said the car was damaged in Honolulu port while unloading car. They indicated the front carbon fiber lip was cracked. I was disappointed, but not surprised, because we are in Hawaii. It’s not uncommon for workers here to not give a shit. Then they sent me pics. The driver side looks about what I was expecting, but the passenger side is far worse. I’ve had multiple BMWs with carbon front splitter and I have cracked them by hitting curbs too hard, but never damaged one this badly. I’m thinking there is additional damage underneath and possibly to bumper itself. No word yet on parts to repair or timeline. Not BMW’s fault, but 100% on them to make it right. Thoughts?

Yikes, looks someone was unloading your car at 4:59 on a Friday, or seriously misjudged the clearance. Either way, as you stated, BMW will be on the hook for this and make it right. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long!
