Passenger door actuator trying to unlock the unlocked door?

So I leave my car unlocked in my garage and I have the comfort access (auto unlock when walking to the car with the key) turned on. What I feel weird and not something I noticed before is the passenger door seems to be making a noise like it is trying to unlock the unlocked door. this happens every-time I let the car go to sleep then walk towards the car with the key. Did anyone else notice this behavior?

No but I never leave my M2 unlocked when I put it in the garage. So every time I return to the car it is locked. The doors don't unlock until I touch the door handle and the unlocking process doesn't manifest any untoward behavior.

If you lock the car then at some time return to the car, does the door unlocking behavior appear to operate ok?

As an aside, when I put the car in the garage I lock it and even if I park the car outside for a bit before I walk away from the car I lock it.

It is a good idea to lock the car when you are through with it. This signals the electronics to go into a lower power mode and they'll do this sooner than if you just walk away from the car.
