Spoke to my CA and told her that if they can get me 5.29% for 60 months I’ll finance through BMWFS. If not, I’ll go with my CU at 5.99% for 72 months. She said she will talk to her manager and see what they can do. So let’s see.

Sometimes when really pressed they will drop the markup but given you already have an order they have less incentive to do so. The only downside is that you wouldn't be able to get loyalty if you go with outside financing but you may not be eligible for that anyway. Corporate is the same amount so check to see if you are eligible for that.

Nothing wrong with going outside. Have you looked at your local credit unions? I have my credit union lined up and ready to go if the dealership wants to mark up the 5.29% to 6.29%. In that case I’m much better off with my credit union and don’t have to finance for 60 months and can just do the 72 month term and pay off the car early.

Yes, they got worse. APR is 3.99 and loyalty still exists as far as I know but could have dropped to $500.

Got an update from my sales associate this afternoon that the manager approved 5.29% for 60 months if I finance with them instead of my credit union. It’s a no brainer me. Hopefully there’s no funny business on Saturday. I’ll keep yall posted.

Is 5.29% the base rate from BMWFS for 2025 X5s and some dealers are marking that up to 6.29%? Are there any other incentives for going with BMWFS besides loyalty of 500?
Anyone find a better rate than NFCU at 4.54% for 36 months? Seems like that is one of the better rates out there, plus you can combine that with the 4k military discount. |

We just financed with NFCU yesterday 60 months at 4.99% as they are pretty much the best around to compete with the manufacturers. Anything local to me was in the mid 6's to almost 8%! And yes, the 4K military discount is a huge bonus right now with virtually no incentives through BMW. I talked to my CA this morning just to make sure there wasn't anything else to stack or take advantage of and he told me nope. Not much available currently. |

Interest rates will be dependent on the rates the Federal Reserve sets. The latest inflation report indicated higher than expected results, causing the Fed to delay rate cuts. To be honest, if you can handle a substantial down payment, as well as pay more than your monthly payment requires, you can greatly minimize the affect of a higher interest rate. I've linked to a youtube video that discusses a loan spreadsheet that includes the ability to add excess payments, which then calculates how much interest you save with those excess payments. |

you can also get a $1000 coupon when you attend the ultimate driving experience, which is going on at the moment.
additionally, you can put a heavier security deposit called (multiple security deposits) which can lower monthly payments and you receive the deposit back at the end of the lease. or if you are up for it, one time lease payments are available as well which lowers the overall payment. |

Just keep in mind that any times you will only get $500 (BMWFS portion) for a UDE since it requires dealer participation which many will not do. It also can not be used on custom ordered vehicles so you can only take advantage of it when buying off the dealer's lot.

I would recommend owing up a Navy federal account. They have a 4K BMW discount and offer 4.99% APR on up to 60 month loan. Dealer gave me over 8% off MSRP and all together with Navy Fed, I saved just north of 14% off MSRP.

Are applicable incentives based on either order date or delivery date based on which is more favorable? Does such a condition for incentives need to be documented in purchase agreement signed by both parties?
