What are you running for aftermarket SQUARE setups?

Hey kids. I’m driving a ‘23 M240i XDrive non-ZDK. I mounted my winters to my stock 19x8 wheels and I’d like to buy some 19x8.5 or 19x9 for my summer setup. Curious to see what wheels others have bought in a square setup. Trying to keep it under $300/wheel.

Cheers!

My staggered ZDK is currently wearing Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 PLUS on stock rims (these replaced the PS4S that came stock).

In a month or so I'll be mounting a new set of PS4Ss (size 255/35/R19) on the four (size 19x9" ET25) Apex VS-5RS (bronze) that just arrived. I can't wait!

More than the $300/wheel that you've stipulated, but you live once! I'll tell ya-- my experience with the all-season Continentals has really made me appreciate the Pilot Sport 4Ss. It's not that they are bad (they have been more than sufficient as winter tires) but it's apples and oranges.

I am also going the APEX VS-5RS route (bronze or gunmetal). Such a good look on our G42s.

As far as Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 +, I am a big fan. Great all-weather high-performance tire! It's no summer tire, but it's oh-so-good. I have the ZTK package and I currently have them all around 255/35ZR-19. It's not that I wanted the square setup per se because I still can't rotate due to stock wheels not being equal width, but funny enough, the 255s were cheaper than 245s at the time of purchase on tirerack.

Would this setup fit on a non-ztk car, with no modifications? Or are 19x9 wheels the widest that can fit on a non-ztk comfortably with no modification? I am looking to buy aftermarket wheels for a square setup for summer.

I have a non-ZTK car stock suspension. If you plan on lowering at all 9.5 may cause some problems up front with rubbing.

Okay, great to know! I was thinking of maybe lowering the car at some point in the future. So you’d recommend sticking with 9” wide wheels then?

I probably would. Maybe someone else can chime in if they have a lowered car on 9.5 all around but I think most are running 9 all around with aftermarket suspension

Those are really nice for 'stock' wheels. Where did you find the reps for a great price ?

A friend of mine put me on to him. He’s on the Alfa forums mainly but he is on the G80 here too. He does custom orders for people. Can pretty much get you any size or design forged wheel you want. Only catch is there is a long wait typically. I waited about 4.5-5 months for mine. BSPKforged is his site.
