Absolutely nothing to be sorry about.
We just won’t be able to be as helpful as the more knowledgeable folks in the G42 forums. Our dash is a bit “restricted” to 2 options and we didn’t get new fonts or fascia in any update. |

AFAIK the latest update is 03/2024.35, not .40. I’ve had it for a month and observed no changes other than what I mentioned before (the connected App Store) |

After the recent 03/2024.40 update my M2 won't remember the auto start stop being turned off whenever I come out of M1/M2 mode. I can disable it via the console button, exit the car, get back in and it be off. However, if I'm driving and I go to M1/M2 mode then turn either off the auto start stop turns back on. Both M1/M2 mode have auto start stop off in the settings.
I swear it didn't do that before and pressing it once kept it off. Oddly enough some of my M1/M2 settings were also changed...haven't seen that happen before with an update. |

I noticed the same thing after my update two days ago but once I stopped the car with auto-stop-start off, then the setting sticked.
It did not stick when I was driving so their code was only saving the setting upon car shutdown. And toggling between M1/M2 and normal would take on the "Saved" value. |

Has anyone gone back into BimmerCode to code their things back in yet? I am missing access to the advance crash module and the BDC. They are greyed out and say that no coding is available.

I also had my M modes settings changed. Both M1 and M2 had different settings changed to them. |

Slowly but surely BMW is making it difficult, and maybe one day, impossible to code their vehicles. If this continues the boys at Bimmercode may be out of business.

Not sure if that was actually the solution or the car remembered on its own but I would start there as suggested. |
